Trauma-Focused Therapy for You.
Utilizing EMDR, DBT, & CBT
Chloe Schroeder, LCSW
I’ve always loved the beauty and power of mountains and the journey it takes to get the best view. This serves as a reminder that meaningful growth often requires patience and hard work. My goal is to support you as you work toward your own personal summit.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a graduate of Fordham University. I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and currently working toward certification. I’m also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These evidence-based approaches guide my work in helping clients navigate various challenges.
I offer in-person and virtual therapy for children, teens, and adults across New York State and Pennsylvania. I provide a supportive space where you can share your experiences and develop new skills. Whether you’re working through trauma or life’s everyday stressors, I’m here to listen and support.
While I support clients through a wide range of life challenges, my primary focus is using EMDR to help individuals heal from:
Perinatal Mental Health
- all stages of the perinatal journey
- postpartum depression & anxiety
- birth trauma
- identity shifts in motherhood
Depression & Anxiety
- generalized anxiety
- intrusive thoughts
- obsessive patterns
- panic symptoms
- major depression
Trauma
- childhood trauma
- medical or relational trauma
- distressing past or recent experiences that continue to impact the present

Treatment generally begins with weekly sessions. As we move forward, we’ll reassess and establish a cadence that best fits your needs and goals.

Will we meet in-person or online?
3
We can meet in person or virtually; whichever feels most comfortable for you. My office is located in Chemung County, NY. For virtual sessions, I simply ask that you or any child/teen participating have access to a private space to support the best therapeutic experience. We may have to assess the appropriateness of virtual sessions if this is not possible.
Can I see you outside of NY or PA?
4
Because of state licensing requirements, I can only work with individuals who are located in the states where I am currently licensed to practice which is New York and Pennsylvania.
